Filthy hospital

The junior doctors of Sierra Leone united in Judasil are angry. According to Judasil one of its female members, a junior doctor at Connaught Hospital in Freetown, "was physically assaulted by the Permanent Secretary, the Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation", when she pointed at the poor and filthy conditions at the hospital. Judasil asks for the resignation of the three mentioned officials. "Junior doctors across the country will be laying down tools until appropriate action is taken". Water supply and cleaning of hospitals should be improved. Judasil emphasizes that despite the deplorable conditions and filth at Connaught Hospital and other facilities around the country doctors have always continued their work and serve the public.
